Permanent Residency

Permanent residency(PR) is a person’s resident status in a country of which they are not citizens but where they have the right to reside on a permanent basis. When you are boarding a flight to Canada you must carry valid PR card or PRTD ( Permanent Resident Travel Document). The Permanent Resident Card (PR Card) is the official proof of your status as a permanent resident in Canada.

A person in Canada temporarily, like a student or foreign worker, is not a permanent resident. To keep your permanent resident status, you must have been in Canada for at least 730 days during the last five years.

Express Entry profile

The express entry program is a specialized program for immigration to Canada for skilled workers and tradespeople to connect with potential job opportunities in Canada. Candidate profiles are assigned a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which awards points for factors including age, education, work experience and proficiency in English or French.

PNP

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada nominate you for Canada PR through an easy process. If you choose to immigrate to Canada as a provincial nominee, you must first apply to the province where you wish to settle and complete its provincial nomination process. Canada has ten provinces and three territories, offer immigration opportunities under PNP.

Family Sponsorship

This program is to re-unite families together in Canada. For Family Sponsorship Program A sponsor must be Canadian permanent resident or citizen over the age of 18 or citizens to sponsor a relative for immigration to Canada.There are some conditions for the person seeking sponsorship:

  • Spouse, common-law or conjugal partner Dependent child.
  • Sibling, Nephew, Niece or Grandchild (Under 18 years).
  • Parent & Grandparent.
  • Caregiver Program

    Canada rolled out two new caregiver pilot programs through 2019 and now accepting applications for “The Home Child Care Provider Pilot” and “Home Support Worker Pilot” the two new caregiver immigration pilots for Caregivers. People in Canada are allowed to bring foreign workers into the country to work as caregivers through a special immigration program.
